The Body Balance protocol is designed to help “straighten-out” the body before the embarking on another more intense training protocol.
The protocol is suitable for anyone who has muscle imbalances that could be made worse by training without consideration for corrective exercises.
Body Balance focuses on balance and core stabilisation by exercising in an unstable yet controllable environment. This type of training promotes greater use of the core muscles that are rarely utilised in traditional gym exercises.
During balance training clients have to maintain stabilisation and are forced to engage individual muscles so that other muscles are not used to help “cheat”.
The 6-week protocol will improve core strength, posture and flexibility, therefore helping the client build a strong foundation for further goal-specific training.
